Chainlink integration, Pollen cross-chain bridge, and more Community perks!

In the run-up to Taraxa’s incentivized testnet and mainnet, we’d like to add more transparency to our development and marketing efforts.

A quick overview of this month’s progress:

  1. Started working with Chainlink on a timestamp oracle integration:

2. More AMAs and partnerships secured:

3. Launched Taraxa Blockchain Club and #Learn video series:

4. Launched Community Claim Site:

In the press:

By Justin Snapp, CTO of Taraxa.

Taraxa aims to be the blockchain on-ramp for everyday business activities, but this is only the start, of the Taraxa value proposition. In this article, we discuss Pollen, the proposed Taraxa cross-chain bridge for vastly amplifying the financial value of these operational data seeds.

Taraxa: On-Ramp for Everyday Business Activity.

Taraxa is purpose-built to be a wide pipe for onboarding the tremendous amount of business activity and agreements into a distributed public ledger. Taraxa directly unlocks the significant value of provenance and immutable tracking of business activity to business operations and within those existing business relationships.

But there is far more valuable to be realized from…

Ensuring the security and trustworthiness of sensor data collected from wineries and individual casks.

The Problem: hard to track spirits' condition and ownership.

UniCask is a joint venture formed by Japan Import Systems, one of the largest spirits trading companies in Japan, with the purpose to track rare and collectible spirits. Mostly stored remotely in wineries and other professional facilities, spirits can raise a lot of questions about their actual location and status. So for the owners to be confident about the whereabouts and condition of valuable casks, a new tracking solution had to be 100% reliable.

The Solution: integrate Helio to make sure that sensor data is trustworthy.

Using blockchain technology looked like an obvious choice, so the UniCask team came to us to help add transparency and security to their existing tracking system…
